Explore our New ArrivalsWhen the design discussions began back around this time last year, there was a strong sense that we wanted to add something new to our Spring Summer collection.
The shapes were already there, the foundations were strong, but we felt there was space to create something new...
In the past few summer collections, we have released bright summer sets, along side pieces that lean more towards occasion wear. Both have their place in the collection but we began to wonder if there could be something that bridged the gap. Something that felt equally at home at a garden lunch. visiting the Chelsea Flower Show, for a day in the office, and when dressed up, as a chic summer wedding outfit.
This is when we landed on linen.
COLLECTION FOCUS
COLLECTION FOCUS
We started with three familiar silhouettes; The Boyfriend Blazer with its relaxed, single-breasted shape, takes on a softer character in linen. The natural texture gives it a fluid drape, whilst maintaining structure, creating a blazer that can be worn as a full set, layered over a crisp shirt, or even casually over a tank top.
The Inverted Pleat Trouser, is a repeated style for a reason, clean, flattering and endlessly wearable. In linen, they move with ease, catching the air and softening the silhouette. The trousers feel polished, without being rigid, making them ideal for pairing with the Boyfriend Blazer as a refined summer suit, whether to work, an occasion or worn separately for everyday ease.
Then there’s the Culotte, a style that has been developed more recently and quickly become a house favourite. Linen gives them a lightweight, flowing quality, making them easy to style and wear across settings. Whether dressed up, or pared pack with a pair of flip flops, they will elevate your summer wardrobe, in a slightly more fashion forward way, whilst still seeming approachable.
PASTEL STORY
PASTEL STORY
Colour has played an essential role in bringing our linen story to life. We’ve introduced the pieces in Cream, Peppermint, and Pink, a palette that feels fresh but grounded.
Peppermint brings a cooler and unexpected brightness, perfectly modern without being overpowering. Worn as a set, and paired with a tonal teal shirt, it feels quietly confident. It’s colour, but considered, adding interest without stepping too far outside of your comfort zone.
And then there’s pink, soft warm and optimistic. Sitting somewhere between neutral and a statement, it lifts a wardrobe with ease. It works across occasions, bringing lightless without demanding attention, and makes for an ideal wedding guest look.
WHERE TO WEAR
WHERE TO WEAR
Designed in London, these pieces have been designed to feel just as at home here as they would in the South of France.
There’s something about summer in the city, the unpredictability of the weather, mix of work and social plans, and the way days stretch into the evening, calling for clothes that can move with you. A linen blazer thrown over your shoulder on the way to dinner, trousers worn through a work day, to evening drinks out, or our culottes, that you can wear with sandals for brunch or dress up with a kitten heel,
It’s this adaptability that makes linen feel so relevant to the collection. Not just a new fabric but a new experience, one that makes dressing feel lighter, easier and more considered. Pieces that feel familiar, wearable, and refined, yet bring a sense of ease and joy to summer dressing in a way that feels unmistakably, Serena Bute.
