From Paris with Love: Serena and Lola’s Guide to Paris

FROM PARIS WITH LOVE

FROM PARIS WITH LOVE

Our founder Serena and her daughter Lola share their favourite spots and must-dos for a weekend in Paris.

From restaurant picks to a stylish boutique and their favourite neighbourhoods.

This guide offers a personal glimpse into their Parisian experiences.

Whatare you most looking forward to about Paris Fashion Week?

Lola: "The Alaïa show - Pieter Mulier is so talented and I want to see the Coperni show too as they always do something interesting.”

What is your favourite area of Paris?

Serena: "I love The Place des Vosges, to me it is the most beautiful square in Paris. Johnny, Lola and I used to live there so it holds lots of happy memories."

Lola: "I really like spending time around Canal Saint-Martin, and also Le Marais and the 1st arrondissement."

Is there a certain place you like to get your morning coffee?

Serena: "I used to like Café de Flore in Saint-Germain - it's great people watching!"

Lola: "Motors Coffee is great, and they also do good cinnamon buns."

Are there any particular shops that you would recommend in Paris?

Serena: "I always try and visit the Alaïa shop, and Merci as they have a great collection of colourful linen sheets. Also, Sabbia Rosa in Saint-Germain as they have beautiful silk nighties which I always buy to wear as dresses in the Summer."

Lola: "I would recommend Pretty Box which is a great vintage shop, and also the Marché aux Puces in Northern Paris - for everything from vintage clothing to antique furniture."

Is there a museum that you like to visit?

Serena: "We went to see the Rothko exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton recently - both were incredible! The building itself is extraordinary and I'm a huge fan of Rothko."

Lola: "I was going to say the same, the Fondation Louis Vuitton is so amazing."

Do you have a go-to restaurant, and what about it do you love?

Serena: "Le Voltaire has always been a favourite, it's small and cosy and has the best tarragon roasted chicken."

Lola: "I always love Soma, it does delicious Japanese food; my boyfriend and I always used to go there and it's actually the first place he took me when I visited him in Paris. Chez Georges and Les Arlots are my other favourites, they're so cosy and traditionally French which I love.

How would you spend your perfect evening in Paris?

Serena: "Dinner at Caviar Kaspia with my kids and friends."

Lola: "Definitely going for drinks and dinner with my friends and family, I also love riding bikes around Paris so that would definitely be my mode of transport for the evening!"
